I joined the Percival Guildhouse in 2015 as Centre Manager. Originally as a Business Graduate I had a career in Retail Management working for Sainsbury’s, Aldi and the Kingfisher Group. After having my family I began to work in the Work Based Learning Vocational Sector both within Further Education and Coventry University. I continue to work part time in a Quality Assurance role at Loughborough College and Coventry University.
I am passionate about lifelong learning and last year achieved my Master’s Degree in Leadership and Management.
Clerical Officer & Book Keeper
Having enjoyed the wonderful atmosphere of the Guildhouse as a student for several years, I was delighted to join the office team in 2008.
After my French degree I became an HR professional in the Electricity Industry then took a child-care career break. Being part of the PGH team is an extremely rewarding return to work – it’s always fun and, for me, the personal interaction with tutors and students is a highlight of the job.
In my spare time I continue to take classes at PGH to brush up my French. I also like to bake, practise Pilates and travel the country making the most of my English Heritage membership.
I have worked at The Percival Guildhouse for 23 years, and have thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it.
I am privileged to work with a wonderful team, and enjoy helping students with enquires, as well as being a friendly face they can trust. PGH and its members have become like a family to me, and I guarantee that anyone who becomes a member will feel the same.
In my spare time I like swimming, walking and enjoy spending time with my grandchildren.
I am currently studying a Level 3 Business Admin Apprenticeship at The Percival Guildhouse.
From the moment I started at PGH, I instantly felt welcomed. Everyone is extremely friendly, making me feel part of the team and I thoroughly enjoy working and learning alongside them on a daily basis.
When I’m not doing my apprenticeship, I love to dance, undertaking Ballroom and Latin dance classes. I also enjoy amigurumi crochet, attending the theatre, walking and visiting National Trust properties.
