FAQ's

The Percival Guildhouse is open for a whole academic year, comprising three academic terms, Autumn, Spring and Summer.

During Autumn term, enrolment is open to all current and prospective students from approximately the first week in August. It is on a first come first serve basis, and due to the capacity of our rooms places are limited. It is advised that enrolment forms are posted through our letter box promptly to secure places on popular courses.  Postal enrolment will be processed before PGH opens for enrolment.

Spring and Summer terms differ from Autumn. For current students, a two week grace period is given for re-enrolment. If re-enrolment has not occurred within this period enrolments will be opened to the community for spaces to be filled.

PLEASE NOTE: Once an enrolment form has been completed for the academic term, we do not require subsequent forms. If any changes to your details occur, please inform the office staff on 01788 542467 or pop in to see us.

In compliance of GDPR,  The Percival Guildhouse strives to keep all our students’ data confidential. All students will need to read and sign our declaration on the enrolment form ensuring they are aware of how they data is going to be used.

Unfortunately, we do not have the facility for payments conducted by credit card. We do however accept, debit cards, cash, cheques and PGH gift vouchers.

Yes! Our wonderful admin team will guide you through a quick and simple process over the phone. For new students a short enrolment form is completed to ensure details are correct.

At The Percival Guildhouse we have very limited wheelchair access and facilities.

The building is Grade II listed and has been designed on multiple levels with steps between the levels. Rear and front access is accessible via a ramp.

Within the physical constraints of the premises, PGH will seek to make its services  available to as wide a range of people as is practically possible. We like to welcome everyone to The Percival Guildhouse and understand that everyone is different. We will do what we can to provide an inclusive and accessible environment for all.

In order to help plan and judge whether our facilities are appropriate for you, please contact a member of the PGH team on 01788 542467, contact@percival-guildhouse.co.uk or chat to us in person!

Payments can be made by post, on the telephone or in person. We accept debit cards, cheques, cash and PGH gift vouchers.

We are happy to accept spread payments for full length courses if you are paying by cheque. Simply send us two cheques, one present dated and one post dated (November/ February or May, depending on the future term) with each cheque for half of the total fees.

This facility is not available for short courses or Dayschools.

Please send all cheques with your enrolment form or letter. (Cheques payable to The Percival Guildhouse).

Yes, but this is subject to circumstances. Students will only receive confirmation of a postal enrolment if a stamped addressed envelope is provided. If you enrol by phone, your receipt will held in the class register and given to you by your tutor at your first class. When enrolling in person, a hand written receipt will be given on receipt of payment.

For some courses, students are provided with a course outline/syllabus. It is intended to present a general statement of the topics to be covered and the order in which they are to be presented. It will be appreciated that successful learning outcomes are affected by the prior knowledge of the group and by individual interests and expertise. Some variation in the time given to particular topics, and the precise order in which they are presented, is therefore to be expected.

Most courses take place at The Percival Guildhouse; some of our courses take place at an outside venue.

Rugby Methodist Church Centre, Russelheim Way

The venue is just a short walk away from PGH. Courses located at this venue are clearly stated next to each course in the brochure.

All enrolment takes place at The Percival Guildhouse.

The Percival Guildhouse is always looking for volunteers. One of our critical positions is the role of an evening steward to keep the office open in the evenings. Please see the ‘Volunteering’ section under the ‘How you can help us’ tab for more information.

The Percival Guildhouse offers individuals the opportunity of giving the gift of education to a loved one through the use of a PGH gift voucher. Gift vouchers can only be used as payment for a PGH course, dayschool or summer school.

If you would like to purchase a gift voucher, please call 01788 542467 or pop in to the office where a member of the team will be able to assist you. Gift vouchers can be of any denomination.

To redeem a gift voucher, please clearly state when you enrol that you are in receipt of a gift voucher. If the value of your gift voucher is more than the cost of the course you want to join, any balance remains on the gift voucher and can be used towards another course, dayschool or summer school in the future.

At The Percival Guildhouse we have a selection of 8 rooms available for hire. For more information, please click the ‘Room Hire’ section in the top header or give us a call on 01788 542467.
